Specialized Glazing Installation: The Steel Trestle Method
Due to the unique architectural design, the presence of scaffolding, metal substructures, or fixed obstacles, and the lack of sufficient space for transporting glass from the ground floor to the installation point, the use of electric suction cups (glazing robots) was not possible in this facade project.
Therefore, the Steel Trestle (H-Rack) Installation Method was successfully employed. In this technique, the glass panel is loaded onto a specialized steel trestle to be guided with maximum precision through obstacles to the installation location.
This installation method offers key advantages:
- Space Saving: Ideal for constrained construction sites.
- High Safety: Provides maximum safety during movement.
- Risk Prevention: Eliminates the risk of glass falling or detaching due to power failure or sudden impact.
